1. About us

Good Story AI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Good Story USA Inc., a corporation based in Ormond Beach, Florida, USA, trading as Good Story AI. By accessing or using Good Story AI (the "Service"), you ("you", "user") agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You confirm you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The Service

Good Story AI is a generative AI strategist for authors, influencers, and creators. It produces text outputs based on your inputs. Outputs are AI-generated and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Outputs are not professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise) and you are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it.

3. Account & accuracy

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Generate or distribute illegal content, hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, deepfakes, or content intended to defraud, deceive, or harm.
• Generate malware, phishing material, or other security-harmful content.
• Attempt to jailbreak, reverse-engineer, scrape, probe, or circumvent the Service's safety or technical limits.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or its outputs as a competing AI product.
• Submit inputs containing content you do not have rights to use.

You are solely responsible for your prompts, your use of outputs, the accuracy of outputs you publish or rely on, and ensuring you have all necessary rights for content you submit. We may remove content, filter or refuse outputs, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we may report illegal activity to authorities.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, branding, and documentation are owned by us and protected by IP laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your plan. As between you and us, you retain rights to your inputs, and outputs generated for you are yours to use, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email tommy@yourgoodstory.biz with details. Repeated infringers will have their accounts terminated.

6. Your content

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and transmit your inputs and outputs solely to provide and improve the Service and to comply with the law.

7. Payments, billing & subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account or via Paddle; access continues until the end of the paid period.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you can request export of your data within 30 days before deletion.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the seller is located, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
